I have never really had any plans to make Chardonnay but during the 2017 harvest I was able to purchase fruit from two really interesting sites. One just west of the Sta. Rita Hills down the road from my house on the back side of Cebada Canyon.

The other site was just south of the town of Los Alamos off highway 101. With the combination of various fermentations and vineyard sources, the variety becomes the vector.
